feelin a little {A.D.D.}

I have no idea why. Could be the three hour conference call i was on this morning plus the one hour follow up call this afternoon.
could be because it is above freezing for the first time in like five months.
Could be because it was actually SO nice we played outside a little today and i cleaned out the car (pinpointed the rotten diaper smell in the car - no not a rotten diaper - some rotten milk. Totally against character for me - i just threw away the whole dang sippy cup. 3.99 is just NOT worth it sometimes!)
Or it could be because i GOT PAID finally and now have money burning a HOLE in my pocket!!!!
I gotta pay Uncle Sam his cut, pay the bills, pay student loan, and do a little of God's work with some of it....so i am not sure that that actually leaves me anything to do much fun with...
but DANG i am inching ever closer to that elusive laptop goal!
If only I could be happy with like a basic average laptop, I would have three by now. It is cause i keep reading all these laptop posts on 2peas, and browsing through Laptop User magazine, and drooling over at the HP and Dell websites -- so the bill for what i WANT keeps growing.
I think i have decided on the HP DV8300 or something like that. They have it at Costco for 1300. but i can't get an extended warranty there. They have it at Best Buy for 1700, but add in the warranty on top of that and I am loooking at 800 MORE dollars than the costco one. that is like a whole back up laptop cost! I could get two for the price of one!
so anyways - all of this is contributing to the mind scatteredness today.

Big things coming up with work. I hope they pan out. But this will mean i need to REALLY buckle down, stick to a schedule and finally admit that working full time from the comfort of my home WITH two little kids underfoot is probably not working out real well. I am going to have to find an alternate solution. Some middle ground whereby all of us stay happy and sane and in love with each other. I hope such a solution exists. No i know it does - I hope I have the strength to tough it out till i FIND that solution.

You know what else I hope for - for some contact company to make contacts that actually dont dry out my eyes in like three days in a high enough power that i can actually see out of them. Oh sure - tons of hype about the new hydraclear OAYSIS ones - supposedly banish dry eyes. Yeah. Don't make them for REALLY blind people. Same thing with colored contacts. Not for blind people. (FYI this is my random vent for the day - i realize things could be a LOT worse, I am truly not really COMPLAINING as much as I am just VENTING.)

And - Ben just pulled up from work.

so maybe we will go get dinner together.
